Also, this is an NP Elite. I'm not sure what the difference is between this and an NP2, but I had a Summit NP2 before, and it was not as nice. The action was OK, but with a garbage trigger. (as you seem to have noticed)

Have you shot anything with your DiamondBack? Did you loctite your screws?

Hi Jeremy.
I bought a Crosman Diamondback myself.
I got the "no-scope" 22cal rifle that is offered by PA
I received it from PA on Jan 18th.

I've had a .22 Diamondback for about a year, been great for small pests. I trap raccoons & dispatch so no skill involved & I'm not out late enough for the coyotes ;)
It's been a solid performer, mine seems to like the RWS Superdomes with the CPHP a close 2nd. I'm getting just over 20fpe as well. I found the iron sights pretty decent but did end up adding a Mantis 3-9x32ao. I had to get a one piece scope mount with a stop pin to handle the recoil, standard rings even with stop pin kept shifting. So far so good, definitely a keeper for shorter range.
Waiting on a new tuned Akela from Airgun Revisuons to be delivered which will be my first PCP. Putting a Primary Arms 4-14x44 ffp on it. Can't wait!

I have my Diamondback scoped now. It is sighted in at 30 yards with 22cal Crosman 14.3 gr. Destroyers.
I am looking forward to shooting it this coming May after all the snow is gone.
Right now I have 3 1/2 feet of snow in the backyard, with more on the way today.
All that snow makes placing targets a bit problematic.
Best Wishes - Tom

I've been lucky snow wise this year but it's still miserable outside, freezing rain/sleet right now.
Definitely got the spring fever!
