If the 16 grain predators are the most accurate pellet in your CFX for hunting, use them! Never sacrifice accuracy for spring life. Springs and and to a slightly lesser extent seals are like the brakes on your car. They start wearing out from day one. Springs and seals are easily replaced and are relatively inexpensive.  Shoot those pellets that are the most accurate, then worry about whether you replace your spring in 3000 or 5000 shots (or whatever # you'll reach).

That's exactly what I was about to say.
I can shoot even the Eun Jin in my gas ram .22 CFX, although drop is pretty substantial beyond 20 yards.

whats the best gas ram for a cfx?  for power.

16gr is fine to use but thats the upper limit
