What is a Hammerli Nova?

They are beautiful guns for sure. I had one in for a tune once. Only issue is they are almost impossible to take down. My client sent his in for a tune just after he bought her because fps was low. Never could get the fps even close to manufacturers specs. And was below most of the average guns in its class.

Could have been a lemon but for sure it was a bear to work on.

I'd say you are correct.  Having Gene chyme in about how hard it was to tune makes me want to pass on it.  I'm pretty sure Gene could tune a TF 87 to perfection. :)
