P-Rod Barrel Extension

(1/4) > >>

longislandhunter:
The other day I received the 3 inch baffled barrel extension that I ordered for my P-Rod and today I got a chance to install it and give it a try.   Long story short......  best 28 bucks I've spent in a long time  :)

Unscrewed the stock barrel cap, screwed the barrel extension on and I was ready to shoot.  Installation took a whole 15 seconds.  Aired the Prod up to 2700 psi (sweet spot), went out to the backyard range, took aim at the 30 yard bullseye and pulled the trigger 8 times.  All 8 pellets went straight into the bullseye.   Nice to see the extension did not effect the accuracy at all  and it did a very nice job of making the Prod even that much more neighborhood friendly.  I'm very happy with my purchase.

Still waiting on mine, Jeff.

Glad you like it!

Did you keep the oring installed at the end of the baffles?

James posted on the yellow that he is changing his extension style. he is adding threading so you can use hour oem cap rather than the first one's sold. He is also anodizing them, same product, just a newer idea.

threex4:
jeff , did you leave the Oring in or take it out. I'd asked him and he said it made no difference . I was able to screw mine all the way in and I had seen someone else's that wasnt and he said it affected the poi if tighten all the way down.

Glad you like it, like you, best 28 bucks I spent in a long time also ;D ;D

r1derbike:
Hmmm.  Think I'll email Jim to see if mine is old or new style?

Buster, did he indicate when the new ones would be hitting the street?

Charles
