Title: New to me Crosman V350
Post by: happymecanic on August 18, 2017, 11:07:36 PM
Recently scored a rather nice V350 for 65$ Cdn.It is in very good mechanical shape, shoots reasonably strong, (on par with my Daisy 840), almost no rust, and the wood is not too bad either. I also find it's rather accurate for a BB shooter. I believe these air guns were made from 1962 to 1969, but is there a sure way to know the exact year of manufacture? There are two digit stamped in the butt's wood, 7 and 9. Could that be an indication of the year of make, like the old Dianas?

I had to make a new front sight post (was broken), and the rear sight was lacking the elevation adjuster, but I found out that a QB78 elevation adjuster fits just right. With that done, it shoots Daisy Precision Ground Shots in the same hole at 7 yards  :D  Love them oldies!
