check Baker, they have aluminum breech for 1377/2240.
Any have experience with this breech? I like the pictany rail as its the only breech I've seen with one, but it's also the only one I've seen in aluminum.http://crosmods.com/breechs.htmlIs there a steel breech with a rail out there somewhere?

I'd be much, much deeper in the rabbit hole right now.

However, the bolt probe does not seat properly, binding slightly on the trailing edge of the vertical slot. And by "binding slightly" I mean it will not work. I tried 4 different bolts including 3 different brand aftermarket (including the one that came with it) and subsequently shelved the project for the moment- will probably end up using my favorite bolt handle: HSS shoulder-bolt capscrew cut off so the threads engage without poking through the other side.I'm at a loss as to why more Lego-gun machinists don't offer pic. breeches. The 13xx and 22xx are tailor-made for red-dot and reflex sights. There's a sidelever-action repeater breech machined for MRod shrouds that takes Mrod magazines offered on both eBay and Amazon for ~ $150. I'm on the verge of ordering for my Maximus, but even if it doesn't fit cleanly, I know for certain it WILL work on my 13xx/22xx including the 2400KT.
I have the asian side lever breech. Fits quite well. The "thimble" has to be precisely located to center the TP and the Mrod magazine post/stay/stanchion/support.
