I just received an e-mail from Pyramyd Air, the Subject line says "Up to 41% + 14% off on select Sig SAUER." The ad shows 4 Sig SAUR airguns and the 1st one listed is the MCX PCP Kit for 41% off! So, thinking 41% off and an additional 14% off might be a pretty good deal, I click on the link in the e-mail and end up on that page on PA's website. All looked good until I added it to my cart, entered the code (from the same e-mail) and get notified the Discount Code does not apply to the item in my cart! So, what part of 41% + 14% off am I missing? Yea, yea, I know it says on select Sig SAUR, but having the one the code does not apply to, as the first one listed in their ad is pretty misleading!
they seem to do stuff like that a lot, kind of bait and switch.
If you want this one?https://www.pyramydair.com/product/sig-sauer-mcx-177-gen-2-pcp-target-kit?m=5714PM me.
It's those 2 little words..."Up to."That means anywhere from .00001% to 41%.The ones I hate are:"Up to 41% off...or MORE...!)
Yeah , I had the same experience on Black Friday 11% sitewide sale. I put a RAW in my basket and entered the code only to receive the same message as you " I'm sorry but the discount code does not apply to the item in your basket ".Oh well, that just kills the shopping bug in me.Hunter
I don't know the actual intent of the wording but it is ambiguous at best! Maybe they just use a Chinese Marketing Firm!
Their advertising is always misleading. Sales and marketing is a far from honest job. It's a turn off to shop when first thing you feel lied to. I think they'd have better luck with honest sales pitch rather then try to play games with people that want to spend money with them. Just like raising prices the day before a sale.
