If you ever want a nostalgic experience shoot some lead round balls from a fully restored 1937 era Crosman 101. I have 2 of them and both are pure gits and shiggles to shoot round balls out of.Pull the cocking knob back.Open the bolt with the gun pointing downward.Thumb and finger a round ball in the chamber and push the bolt closed.Pump the gun to desired power level.... the more the merrier... Aim through that vintage peep sight and....let 'er rip tater chip.Tag a soda can at 35yds.... at will.
Old style can'. Not gonna get pin point accuracy but what a throw back... just old school fun.

Shot the Parrus . 22 today. Some shots were great, some not so great. The stock screws didn’t budge. The hood on my front sight popped up. Pushed it back into place and thought perhaps barrel harmonics? Why now, after all this good shooting? Took the LDC off and it got better, but I’m not so sure everything is good. It was windy, but it seems the scope’s windage turret is not tracking true. I’ll try again tomorrow after Ch**ch, but I think something’s wrong with my scope.

Back when Umarex was dependable, I called their customer service and they sent me two new stock screws free.▪My front sight hood pops off every once and a while. ▪The Parrus is a Magnum springer and will play havoc on scopes.
No bunnies on my walk around the pasture this morning so I dropped a couple of golf balls and paced off 60 yards. I set up my tripod and my lawn chair and proceeded to enjoy the warm weather... with my XS60c. It only took me three shots to get the necessary hold-over figured out. Then I started kicking the golf balls around with some AA domes. This is the longest range I have attempted with this gun and it continues to amaze me.
