Shooting Chrony Beta Master Remote Display Desktop/Bench Stand

I have the Shooting Chrony's Beta Master Chrony.
I use it on tripod and already shortened the cable to 10ft.
I like to place the display near by while shooting and on my desk to record later.
The display is light and getting it to stay put or press buttons with a finger touch is difficult.
I had enough. I liked what I did so much I wanted to share.
I Velcro attached a 9v battery to the side simply for the convenience of keeping track of it and to keep it from flopping around and such.
It turns out the weight of the battery is a bonus.
I fashioned an angle bracket and with a very short 1/4-20 bolt and attached it to the threaded hole on the back of the display case intended for clamp mounting.
I placed self adhesive cabinet door bumpers on the bottom of the display and the rear of the bracket.
BAM-O! When I use the unit during shooting the battery weight helps the rubber pads get traction and it stays put.
On the desk top I can operate the buttons without palming it.
I whipped this up pretty quick. Onde day when I get really really bored, and have no pellets, I'll remove it, file on it a little more, paint it black, and use a washer with an
Allen head bolt. Heh!
