Spent all night, working on my 83 k5 blazer. i pulled the stock cast iron intake off, and put on a edelbrock performer EPS intake manifold. a few minor adjustments on the Edelbrock 1406 carb, and she's running a whole lot better than she used to. Still getting some fuel issues.... for some reason i'm getting fuel cook off, (vapor locking) and its bleeping me off in the worst way. i made sure my fuel lines aren't going by anything hot, (there still the stock steel lines going up the front of the engine behind the fan) and feeling them by hand, they aren't overly warm... just the radiant warmth from the engine, nothing out of the ordinary. either way, the ole pig is slightly happier, and has a little more "seat of the pants" power. I love Tinkering... :-D
