I got a Simmons LRF 600 Laser rangefinder. Not an expensive model but seems to work very well. It will measure in yards or meters. The optics are very clear. It says that it will range a reflective target out to 600 yds, a tree out to 400, and a deer to 200. The farthest thing i could find was a tree line 383 yds out. For airgun hunting and even deer hunting I think its a great inexpensive model. I would reccomend it to any airgun hunter

I have the same one and I am happy with it. Picked it up at Walmart for around $120. I haven't used it much past 150 yards or so but it has worked great inside that range. I noticed that sometimes I need to hit the button more than once to get a range. Almost like it didn't hit the surface the right way for a reading. No big complaints here though. For the price, it is a great value.
