Congrats to the young lady but I get an ache in my hip just looking at that picture
I'm not Mike, but my 2-cents (yup, I expect change back.):Check with your State colleges. Often they have shooting teams.Check with local 4-H. Many programs there, like Project Appleseed involvement. There are "postal" matches for those too far from a range. Check netcompetitor.com for a great example.Make airgun friends and create your own shooting club.Move to England. They have an airgun club or two in every town. 'Course you'll have to leave any real guns you own with me until you get back.
I am "Hoosier Daddy" on Project Appleseed.I have even approached our local 4-H ( ex member) and our local High School (Class of '81) about starting it up.I am missing something because Butler is a relativity local gal... and there HAS to be a club some where close.Wonder how bad Alexis (my Grand Daughter) would get laughed at, showing up with a FWB 300S?
You folks need to get off your duffs and get out to your local universities rifle team matches. I've been attending The University of Nebraska Womens Rifle team matches for a few years now. Think you're a pretty fair shot? Go to one of these matches, they're free and you'll leave with your tail tucked between your legs. Matches are held @ the old Military and Science Building on campus which is THEE birthplace of the Pershing Rifles....
