I'd pick the .177 every time. Personally I've never had a .22 barrel from Weihrauch that was accurate enough to keep. Never had a problem from my .177s.

I've had total reverse shoulder replacement on the left side and can't support a rifle steady enough. I use bipod, tripod or bench rest. In the woods I use whatever is available.
Rite on shooting posistion and back to the R9.And I'm still no closer to what is Best on an R9 .177 or .22
When in serious doubt, ask your wife. My wife is in favor of neither. Take my to Walmart for shoes.
