Bavaria Model 30

This walked in the door the other day, and I've been trying to do some research on it. Not listed in the Blue Book, as BSF, Wischo, or Bavaria, but a parts diagram shows up at Chambers in the UK. Looks like a typical German made youth springer. But there is some sort of adjustment on the rear of the receiver tube, a screw with + and - and inscribed 'abzugs-stellschraube'. Using the Google translator, 'abzug' can mean 'trigger', and 'stellschraube' can mean adjusting screw. Anybody know specifically what it does or how it works? Or know anything about this model?
Edit; thumbnails pics turned upside down for some reason, but go right side up if you click on them.

I have a model 45. That screw adjusts your trigger pull.

The adjusting screw sets the amount of sear engagement for the simple one-piece trigger. Likely the "+" direction gives deeper engagement but it's easy enough to experiment with to be sure. Per the blue Walter book, it's 34.3" overall and weighs about 3.5 lb., definitely a 'youth' gun. Easy to work on if you need to - construction is dead simple with a leather seal.

I have the next step up being the Model 35 and the grandfather of Magnum Air Rifles - Model 55N.
As mentioned the rear screw on the junior series is the trigger adjustment. This adjustment was relocated to the trigger area with the Model 55 and up through the Model70.
Also it is hard to see but it appears your stock was made by Sile, they are Italian stock maker typically making stocks for shotguns. Both stocks for My 35 and 55N (N=Walnut in German) were made by them and both are walnut. I am not an expert on wood so I am not sure if it your 30 has a walnut or beech stock. Either way it is a nice example of European craftsmanship and a nearly lost art in itself. Enjoy they are great little shooters

Thanks for the responses, that’s what makes this place so cool, somebody knows and shares.
This gun doesn’t cock, so either the adjustment is out of whack or something else is wrong. Yes, has the inscription on the stock, didn’t make sense until now.
My plan is to get it working, then get it into the hands of some nephew, cousin, or other kid that can put it to use.
