Do you guys think I should get the 177 classic from numerich or the ems 34 in .22 for rabbit hunting in the swamp and pine forest. Budget is not an issue
I may have overlooked it, but do you have experience shooting a " Springer " air rifle ?? If not, you will most likely have to " learn " to shoot these. They are a different type shooting than any BB gun, powder burner, etc. I am not a big fan of any springer " Twanger " for that reason, although my Gamo's were fairly easy to learn to shoot, since they were pretty accurate out of the box.

Quote from: Roadworthy on June 15, 2021, 04:05:55 PMDefine better. The Gamo probably has the edge in power. The Diana will have the edge in accuracy. I don't know the Gamo but I know Diana barrels, pivots, and triggers. The Diana 34 is definitely German made. Gamo goes on the Gamo gate but many of their guns are of Chinese origin. The choice is obviously yours to make.Doesn't matter power if you can't hit the target.

If budget isnt an issue call mike at flying dragons and see if he still has any beeman r9 in stock. They are $450 fully tuned. Out of the two you asked to pick from i would go with the .177 simply because it shoots flatter out of that power plant and the classic is a proven platform that you will always be able to get parts and upgrades for.

In the past you needed to have a Federal Firearms License to buy parts from Gamo? That still the case?
If anyone's in the Portland Oregon area, I have one of those just a couple months old I'd like to sell.
