Crosman 108 Town and Country
« on: June 09, 2021, 11:50:03 PM »
I picked up this Crosman 108 Town & Country with a nickel finish. All the other 108's i've seen have been blued / black. Looking for any info or has anyone ever seen one before. I attached a pic. Thanks in advance for any replies.

Thatís interesting. The curly stock is pretty amazing as well!.  The painted finish on these was pretty durable?  Does it show signs of heavy use where a refinish would be necessary?  If not, given the stock, makes you wonder about a show piece but never heard of a factory silver finish?

The first time I hit it, I missed. The second time I hit it in the same place.

Crosman Town and Country models were painted and not nickel plated or blued.
The receiver, pumptube and barrel are all brass. Must say, the rifle looks good with a nickel finish.

Sorry I missed seeing it!  What did they share?  2 sellers had nice T&C 108s for sale at normal prices.  Never saw one at Findlay since I started going.

i'll bring it to the grove city show in July, i saw your tables but didn't stop by but i will next time. Some thought it might be a salesman sample or a prototype. No one knew for sure but no one saw one like it. Thanks for the reply.
