Hatsan 125 Sniper Vortex Clumsy Trigger and Safety

Hello everyone!
I recently purchased a second hand Hatsan 125 Sniper Vortex .22, that is supposedly new (less than 200 shots) and working perfectly. I have been using the rifle for some days and so far so good, but:
1. The trigger wobbles laterally. Is it normal? It is very light and I love it, but I really wonder if that is normal
2. The safety is
really clumsy
. Is it normal?
3. Yesterday, I cocked my rifle and the safety didn’t disengage, even after pressing it several times. I pulled the trigger and pressed the safety multiple times and it finally shot. Why is that? Should I worry?
4. Today, I went shooting and for my surprise the safety is not working anymore. That is, I can fire the rifle without needing to press the safety. Again, why is that? Should I worry?
5. And finally: today, the trigger resistance varied. Sometimes it felt light (as it was when I received it), and other times it was heavy, and with a longer distance. I also noticed that the accuracy varied. When the trigger was hard, all shots went down-right 2-3 inches at 34 meters.
Is it feasible for a non-experienced-in-airguns person (but with some experience repairing things) to fix this? Or should I rather start figuring a return?
Thank you!

With the Quatro trigger there is a trick to pulling the trigger, do not pull straight back, but rather lift it upwards. That should keep your trigger pull smoother and consistent. The safety may have come disconnected, some owners disconnect the auto safety, may want to remove the action from the stock and inspect those parts.
Also you want to keep checking the screws that hold the action to the stock, is normal for them to work loose on any type of gun like these.

There are several good threads on this forum about the Quattro trigger. I read all of them when I got my model 125. Just search for threads about the Quattro. If you are lucky MikeyB or SteveP will chime in here.
