Does a Muzzle Break (Cocking aid) change POI when installed?

This was something I was concerned about when I ordered three muzzle breaks from Spiralgroove.

I had read somewhere,  maybe on another forum I can't remember that it could effect point of impact.

Has anyone experienced a change in POI after the installed a muzzle break from any source?

Today I carried my HW50 .22 cal. with the newly installed muzzle break that I got from Spiralgroove to find out. (It has been super windy and I didn't want pellet drift due to cross winds to affect my test. This is the first day since installing them that the wind was calm.)

My HW50 had been sighted in at 30 m (33 yds) shooting 5.53 FTT 14.66 gr pellets.

I was shooting at 1" spinners at 35 yds.

I fired 20 pellets.

Results:

All hit EXACTLY where I aimed.  Hmm? Could the muzzle break have actually improved the accuracy?

The Muzzle break from Spiralgroove did NOT change POI a bit.

Thanks Kirk for a superb job.
