Good morning! Are you up yet? What's your plans for today?
« on: December 08, 2020, 07:50:57 AM »
Good morning,  I'm up. What do you have planned for today?

Ever since the time change it's been anywhere from 03:00 to 03:30 when I wake up. My internal clock didn't turn back. Today I  slept in,  didn't get up till 03:36.

Changed out the scope on my RWS460 again.  LOL, I  think its had more scopes mounted that shots fired.

Long story, my backup scope (NIB) was defective.  Didn't know that till I mounted it on my 460, so wanting to try the new rifle out I mounted a junk scope just to shoot it. Yesterday the Hammers 3-9X40AO replacement came in, this morning I mounted it. I'll sight it in when it warms up a tad.

Howdeeeeee. Im up 2:30 am every day and I'm waiting for the doorbell cam to alert. Ratting with my Taipan Vet

TODAY:
Shooting AG's, splitting firewood, riding our bikes to work off all the great things my wife bakes and cooks.

I've been doubling up on 'The Blubber Pills' and need to exercise more.

Hey good morning early riser!

You might think you’re fully awake but you did post this in the bargain gate.  So... maybe another cup of coffee?

I first moved it to Air Gun Gate and had to move it again to Back Room.

Perhaps a shot of "white lighting" this early is a better choice instead of coffee then, lol!

I am kind of a late riser, worked second shift long enough to revert to the schedule after leaving 1st....
Seems we need one of those big 30-cup percolators around here, eh?  ;) ;) ;)
I had better get my second cuppa before I make my slip  :D.
Nothin' special planned; have a bunch of misc. tasks to get done.

I went to bed early last night with a sinus headache and was awake mostly after 2:00 AM with a few minutes of sleep here and there. Since my head still hurts I tried to stay in bed as along as I could. The wind kicked up all sorts of dust and pollen, and the power is still off. The last notice I got said the plan is to turn it on at about 2:00 PM today.

Slept in,  didn't wake up till 03:40.
My left arm is sore from cocking the RwS460 yesterday.  But my 50 yd 10-shot groups were not what I was hoping for so that's what I plan on doing today. I guess I'll take an Advil for the pain.  LOL

I got up at 0400 as usual. Moving kinda slow, my chiropractor went on a hunting trip (good for him, bad for me), haven’t been fixed for 2 weeks. I’ll get to see him on Friday, WooHoo! But I’m also having to do someone else’s quoted work, so I think I’ll have one more cup of coffee before I get going.

Hope your arm gets to feeling better, Dan- you’ve got a Birthday to celebrate tomorrow!!!

Got up at my usual 4:00 am this morning.
Breakfast consisted of the following pills... BP, 800mg Ibuprofen, Amox and diabetic pill. Washed it all down with an ear flush and a side of coffee with french vanilla creamer. Next it's onto a half pack of smokes and a shower.

You're much to young to be dealing with a chiropractor.  What's up?    I guess I should start seeing one. LOL 'cause I definitely need fixin'. My Parrus rifles and the 460 definitely keep my arms sore. It seems I do enjoy the magnums. My left arm was the one that was affected after my work injury and of course that is the one I cock these magnum springers with. I rarely take pain meds but today I see an Advil in my future.
Yes tomorrow is my 67th birthday.  I catch up with my wife as she is 6 months older and I don't let her forget it either. LOL

I love her dearly,  she's God's gift to me and I thank Him daily for her. We've been married for 47 yrs and dated 5 years before that. If you do the math, we started dating when we were 15, married at 20 first child at 24. It's been a wonderful life.

Oh and she has deemed this whole week as my "birthday week". She has done something special for me every day including preparing my favorite meals. I guess because we won't be able to have our family over for my usual party she's just trying to make it special for me.
