I have never had the issue, but don't use the shoebox vent. This was noted as an issue, going back to the original. I added a external bleed when I added an output gauge, to my Max. Before that, just used the vent on the bottles, but that tends to draw any gunk/silicone oil toward them. My guess is that you are filling guns direct? My guess is that you are filling guns direct? That's what I'm planning on doing with my shoebox when I get it. I'm going to use the bleed valve on the bottle to release pressure. I won't be filling rifles direct. If I need to fill a rifle direct I'll use my vevor compressor instead. Much much faster.

It is already "in" the fill hose.,Venting at the SB will leave it there, and into your AG. Vent at the bottle vent, and it will be vented to atmosphere. Knife
