I was going to shoot after I did the line trimming. But halfway through I decided to go ahead & mow. Got the mowing done and took the girls to Sonic for milkshakes & a Reese’s blast for the little one. Going to pickup my wife & take her to dinner. Penguin Ed’s BBQ, for our Anniversary.  ;)

My wife is Friend to Animals, but cicadas don't count.  She's been getting them off of trees and feeding them to our bass.  Then I throw a big foam rubber fly in there and clean house.    Fishing on Easy mode.

Slow and easy Carter.... we'll wait for you.

So, I'm into my 2nd day of a 16 day shutdown from work (summer retooling). Last night I went to the local 4/10 mile stock car races. Always a great time.
We have a couple RV/ATV camping adventures planned and last time out I noticed a small leak in the connection on a hose extension for the radiator relocate kit I installed on my Rancher. So, I just went down and turned the shop on, light and a/c. I moved the bike in and got it up on the lift. I'll stock the mini fridge  ;) and spend most of the day prepping the bike. Betty Lou will spend most of the day prepping the RV.
Delivery is scheduled for another PCP project and I want to get back to airguns then.

Got the wall done in the Family room.
The Wife wanted the WHOLE wall done after seeing the Dart Board side.

The picture only comes in upside down... what is going on !
I tried flipping the picture in my Photos but that didn't help either.

Hope you get the idea.

Fixed it for ya...

Somewhat productive Today.... considering the heat and humidity..  :-\
Got the new gas grill assembled.
Got the RV put in mobile state and took it to the Co-op to fill the propane. I just so happened to pick the one day a year they were closed for inventory..  ???  The guy said they would be open for business tomorrow morning at 7:30am. Put 25 gallons of gas in it on the way back.
A rusty wheel on the smaller of my 2 trailers finally got bad enough to leak air. I was passing past a buddy's ATV shop in town and noticed some trailer wheels out front. I gave him a call and he was at his daughter's atv park where he spends most of his time these days. I asked about the wheels and he told me they were brand new gel filled tires and wheels. He offered a set of 2 up for $50 each. Told me to picked them up and pay him next time I saw him.
Betty Lou and I went back and grabbed them, brought them home and put them on the trailer. Won't be any flat tires on that trailer anytime soon. Rambo and Boss dug holes in the sandy ground until they got to a cool layer. They both laid and watched us sweat.
Sat in the air conditioned shop and tossed back a couple cold ones.

Other stuff was air gun related.

Odious job. Washed bathroom walls and ceiling then taped so I can paint tomorrow. Painting is the only thing I hate worse than sanding.

Started wiring turn signals, side markers, horn and hazard switches on the wifes UTV tonight. The new LED kits make this pretty easy and include the fuse holders as well as very well made fit in the OEM slots, rocker switches.

In order to use our UTV as a vehicle on the roads, we have to have 3 rear facing mirrors, backup lights (do NOT have to be actuated by the shifter), turn signals, hazard lights, headlights and brake lights. This way, it can drive on any non-highway or freeway as a POV.

I have installed a few different kits the Rycor was my favorite because on Polaris and some times canam and honda they tapped into the tail lights to use as turn signals.

I will get it loaded up today after work so we can bug out first thing Friday morning.

I ride my 4-wheeler on our county roads but I try to stay on the side in the grass as much as I can, only to save my tires.

The Elementary school where I worked the last seven years before retiring was only 3/4 mile from my house. Yep I road my 1993 Yamaha Moto 4 350cc to school a lot. Parked in my designated  parking spot directly in from of the office.

The kids loved to see Lt. Dan come and go. I made it on the parent's FACEBOOK page more than once. Also wore cargo shorts and a polo shirt to work.
