A good thick grilled steak is probably the one thing I miss most since I've restricted from red meat due to health issues. But I must admit... I feel a heck of alot better these days. BP, A1C and weight have been greatly reduced.I can even outrun Rambo now.... poor old dog... looks like Forest Gump when he tries to run. :'(

I can actually have a conversation without stopping in the middle to rest.
I cooked up a small ribeye roast today. I've never cooked one before and was afraid I would mess up an expensive piece of meat. But it turned out perfectly, rare to medium rare, super tender, flavorful and juicy. I wanted to eat a lot more but my wife made several suggestions to stop. I heard the last suggestion. Also had mashed tatoes, carrots and some super sweet tangerines for dessert. It was a great meal. Looking forward to leftovers.
