Not sure if it was better than Popeyes spicy chicken sandwich. I'd have to try both at the same time to pick the winner.I haven't tried the BK version, but I'm surprised that they are able to come that close to Popeye's. For me what makes Popeye's so good, besides the tasty huge piece of breast, is also that buttery bun and those crunchy pickles. There's a big rivalry between Popeye's chicken sandwich and Chick-fil-a's chicken sandwich, but I don't think it's even close. I suppose there's just that many people who prefer regular burger buns and smaller meat portions. In any case, I'll have to give the BK's version a try.

Large piece of solid breast. Good bun! Looks like sweet bread and near a buttery topping. I think they used a better variety of pickles target than their standard. Like Ernie, I was impressed! It was a very good sandwich! However, Popeye's still reigns supreme! Taste wise, they are both very, very good and for me it's a tie. However, the tie breaker is the price. Popeye's cost $3.99 while BK's was $5.79. That's fairly substantial! Another minor point is eating in the go. Popeye's food wrapper is much more driving friendly, whereas BK wrapper was oversized and very stiff. Even while I was parked, I still had bits of food falling onto my lap while eating the BK sandwich. I've eaten many Popeye's sandwich while driving, and had zero issue with messiness.Between the 3, Chick-fil-A is well behind.

I have a half leg of lamb and some salmon kabob's on the old BBQ......
I love halibut, and they've always gotten them fairly fresh.

When I lived within an hours drive, I used to drive to the open market at Port's of Call village. Their fish market was amazing. They also had a section of fish smoked daily in house, and I'd always get some of that house smoked halibut. Smoked Barracuda, Sea Bass, and Yellowtail were pretty good as well. Then on a trip to Hawaii I discovered Ono or Wahoo and Orange Roughy.
OH BOY DAN! That looks GOOOOD!
