REALLY TOUGH using a Bull Pup in FT ...Being so short your UNABLE to spread out the support holding it still anywhere near that of a long gun. When unable to spread out the contact points any body motion, points of hold motion the gun will Wag & Sway giving you a far less controlled & stable POA.Experienced trying so first hand JMO tho & your results may be better ( I'm 6' tall and lanky in body build ) If a stubby and compact body type you will have a better chance to get it to work perhaps. Keeping most of the gun between your body and your sticks would make for a more stable shot than having more weight hanging in front of the sticks. Learn something new every day
I am currently building my Marauder for field target.

I didn't read any other posts, but I'll give you my $ .02 anyway....For me, I have an FX Wildcat in .22 and it's a bullpup. Probably the top one or two accurate gun I own. It is very hold sensitive and the slightest movement behind the gun registers down range. A longer gun is easier for me to be accurate with. Very easy to shoulder and very easy to shoot and shoot accurately, but the hold sensitivity and the shortness of the rifle will conspire against you a little...
So carbine length is good, rifle length better, bullpup is on the "no-go"guage. It is making more sense now, thanks all for the replies.
