Remarks:
The cold windy weather scared most of our regular shooters away. We only had four brave shooters battle the wind and cold weather. No rain fell but still got frozen toes, chapped lips, numb fingers and the shivers.
We changed the format a little bit. We still did one shot per target (WFTF format) but did it twice per lane. All targets were clearly numbered and we shot in numerical order. For example, on lane 7, you shoot target #13 first, #14 second, then #13 again for the third and lastly #14 for the fourth.
Wind blew hard at times. When there was a lull a shot can be reasonably made and knock down the target. No timers were used. As usual some shots in the wind required holding beyond the face plate.
John did very well with the heavy slugs he recently purchased. I believe it will be a winning combo for open and hunter PCP class.
Despite the weather, I had enjoyed the day of shooting and used it as a training session in the wind. Thank you very, very much to John, Vasyl, Ron and Michael (Ron's son) who helped setup and take down the course.
Next match: 2018 June 17 Sunday (80 shot monster match)

Thanks for holding the match Leo. It was a great learning experience not only in the new rounds performance but in how to handle myself late in a match as well. I can't wait for next month when the other clubs start holding matches. John
