I ordered a 10x40x50 on the 29th as well off amazon and received my scope Monday and it was also a 8x32x50 instead of the 10x40 that was ordered. I contacted Tac vector via an email I got from them confirming my request to include dovetail rings instead of piccatinny rings. They had me send them some pics of the scopes magnification ring to verify the scope received I guess. They said they would forward it to the FBA amazon shipper yesterday. Today I get an email from Alan Duan from Tac vector saying they "get it, we will arrange replacement" So not sure at this point what's next. The order clearly states a 10x40x50 scope was ordered. Go figure.Mike
I just got an email awhile ago that now they want a photo of the code on the shipping box so getting a little ridiculous to me. No mention of returning the wrong scope and getting emails from two different people as well.I am not paying more than the 169 it was when I ordered it and really want the scope not the money back.Mike
Ordered the 10-40 but got the 8-32 scope like everybody else. Emailed Vector via facebook and got a response at least asking for amazon order number and email address. I think their problem was the 8/32 boxes were wrapped in a manila paper bubble wrap with a very small barcode labeled 10/40. Also the box had both 8/32 and 10/40 descriptions on it which were supposed to be marked by a marker. Both UNmarked.Waiting for their response.Looked at the scope and it's not that bad for the price. Certainly lighter than the ZOS 10-40 from amazon.
Yes it has been a bit of an inconvenience about the scope confusion, but they are handling it very professionally and is not costing any more other than the 169.00. All works out in the end. I like it Cameron and would be very interested in one when you are ready to cut out some more. The quick disconnect is nice as well and should prevent any damage to the scope or wheel in transits from home to matches and back.Let me know.Mike
