I found out the bolt handle screw is soft metal for some reason and the hex head strips out very easily. I only wanted to snug it and the hex portion just striped out like it was made of chese. If I can get the old one out, going to hardware store and finding a quality hardened screw for it. Of course it may be because the bolt is unhardend and they didn't want that to strip out. I'm going to heat treat the bolt when I get it out so I don't have these problems again. I think I am just going to stick to my modified QB 79's and 78's and get rid of these Gauntlets.

Well It's a part gun now, tore it all down, so I will use what I can off it. It's been trouble since I bought it any ways.

You don't happen to have a .22 gauntlet that you could part with the barrel and bolt do you? Have been trying to convert my .177 to .22 for a while and parts are nonexistent.
