I don't know about the orings at harbor freight.  I just ordered with the breech,  orings, transfer port seal and barrel from Crosman. If you change to 22 cal then you will need a 22 cal bolt too. Don't forget the oring that goes on the bolt.
Crosman offers the little plastic stock for about $25 iirc.

They are not that great, but I do have several kits of them for other uses.

Bought my main O-rings from Magnum Air Power and Amazon by the hundreds.

Lee, have a look at these threads.
There were several variants. Some have a screw placed in the forward area, some placed at the back.
Some used a hammer with a slot cut into it to prevent it from dragging on the sear when fired.

If you change to 22 cal, then you'll also need a 22 cal bolt. It looks like some guys get the 22 cal Discovery bolt because it's a little longer.
I just bought the 22 kit.
I've been trying to find the part numbers for you.

Hunter Not a problem I've been accused of worse. I try to ask questions that I just don't know cause I have never done a mod on anything and just don't know what or how and am a little paranoid about making a costly me mistake and so others in the same boat can get it right.
I do appericate all the responses.
So thank all of you for helping me and all who might use this info to help them.

Thanks Lee

L.o.l.

It takes a while to get to know someone,  especially on a forum where you don't see or hear them, or even know their real name. There are a few that I must pay close attention to their wording. I know that Subscriber is very smart, so I try to understand his meanings. There are others like that.  Some post many thousand of posts that are very informative, like Cookie monster and Lloyd Sikes,  Motorhead, Ribbonstone, Triggertreat, George Schoonmaker, Rallyshark, Darkcharisma, FuzzyGrub, Wayne52, NervousTrigger, WYOMAN ( all caps because of the spelling changer ), insanity, and yes Subscriber. There are probably 50 to 100 members that I always read their posts even if it's a topic that doesn't directly apply to me.
Virtual character recognition is an interesting side trip.
I hope that I've contributed a few tidbits of information over the years,  I'm mostly here for comic relief, but a covid shot, ear ache and a root canal all together hit me pretty hard.

Lee, did you see any thread about this trigger?
I polished a little and weakened the spring, it's not too bad.
There is a small spring and a very tiny ball bearing if I recall correctly,  and the trigger spring.  You just pull it out and squish it to lighten thr trigger pull. If you squish it too much just stretch it out a little.
It's been a couple of years since I did mine.
I will try to find the thread.

read about this trigger, watching the video
It seems like the more I get into this the more complicated it gets!!
I read all the posts in reply to this and go to the web sights that are posted, read and watch the videos.
When I get all the parts to do it right I'll have to go back and review all the info posted here and post some pictures of the end product.

I keep saying Thanks but that seems a little light for the help I'm getting And I hope anyone else reading this gets something from it.

PGunner, what you probably want is the Crosman 1701 trigger assembly, but you'll need to change / mod the hammer and a few other parts. There are good tutorials on this on the web. As to the breech, most of the steel ones are Crosman 'resales', I just installed an aluminum breech from Baker Airguns on my 1377 build. Okay quality, it arrived with the bolt and o-ring and is working fine for about $35 plus shipping.
Modding is an 'entertaining pastime', not to mention a spendy and sometimes frustrating one. Last time I checked [ just over a week ago], Crosman was still out of steel breech kits and 1701 trigger assemblies, get your part numbers in order, call, and be patient.

My 14.6 22cal. barrel arrived today and I have stock and breech on order.
Looked at a few other places and there talking about o ring, rear breech plug, barrel set screw, barrel set screw, a long probe bolt, bigger exhaust orifice.

Do I need any of the above parts and what else do I need to complete the change?
If so where would I get them and part # would be a great help too.
I hope I can get this done with out getting totally lost.

Lee,
You asked about the long bolt.
Some guys like these because it sets the pellet deeper into the barrel. It may be necessary if you drill out the transfer port.
It's been a while,  I think that everything was included in the steel breech kit.

Here is an ebay link for a complete 1701p trigger group with hammer, I got  three over the last couple of months for various builds.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/274761972877?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649

Prior to that I had ordered parts from Crosman and put it together myself,  much more costly that way though.
As far as putting one into one of the 22xx types, or like I did in a 2300 the only other thing to change or modify is the hammer

I don't want to get into this any farther than just putting a 22cal barrel and a better breach to change my 1377 to a 1322 at least at this time and would like to know if there are any other parts I should get so I'll have them when the breach gets here.
For the moment I want to keep it as simple as I can for my first mod on a air gun.
