I'm shooting in the casual match prone, because I don't think I could ever get up again from a seated position after a full target any more and I'm quite a bit younger than you. I think the casual matches are just perfect. Grab a target and jump in. Don't worry about your scores. I think too many people see what others are posting and think oh, that's what I should be doing in X category not realizing, it's your training, background, and equipment that is pretty much going to determine your score to start with. Start there and after a few seasons and lots of training and practice, maybe some equipment change you can change your score, but mostly enjoy being where your are at. Especially in the Casual matches. That's what they are all about. Leave the winning to the young people.

That's why I'd like to compete with those ofmy age that still have a competitive spirit and respect for the 1950's/1960's quality built American built air rifles! Is there anyone that understands my perspective?
