I love mine. I took it out to the woods this weekend. It’s a heavy beast, but at least Hatsan had the good sense to ship it with sling attachments. Something that most other AG manufacturers overlook.I do however wish that there was more variety in the .30 cal pellet offerings.
I have the .30 cal and love it. Yes, it's a heavy beast to carry but it packs a heck of punch when hunting. Does very well with the NOE casted pellets. JSB 50.15gr do very well in this gun. I have a Hammers air gun rated scope on it, this gun will wreck non air gun rated scopes. Cocking force is 50lbs so you will get a work out cocking it. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Hammers-Magnum-Spring-AIR-Gun-RIFLE-SCOPE-3-9X32AO-w-Stop-Pin-One-Piece-Mount/382309855367?epid=691360244&hash=item5903717087:g:g4MAAOSw3KFWegui
Is there another Hatsan rifle you’d recommend? I’m happy with my 95 but I want a vortex (not necessarily the mod 95). Also lighter (and cheaper) than the carnivore. Thanks
I would choose the model 87 over the Stryker due to the fact the 87 sports the Quattro trigger, and the Stryker does not.
