I get better accuracy from Daisy BBs than Crosman BBs.
The Daisys and the Hornady Black Diamonds get about the same accuracy but I can see the Daisys travel to the target.
Daisy Premium Grade zinc coated BBs are what I like best.
I have not tried the Daisy Precision Ground Shot.

My 880 is horrible with bbs. My APX NPG is too. Thd newer model ,760 I had shot s couple groups with bbs but had no consistency. I think that Daisy Avanti 499 is the way to go. But, it's pretty low on power. Otherwise, I say bbs just plain not so good.

Its been a bit since I pulled out the 880, but the common complaints about bb accuracy seem to ring true for my experience. It was a happy day to group within 5" at 20 yards. Pellets were better, but always carried off to one side and I could never loosen that darn rear sight screw to adjust the windage.

I just got an adult red ryder, and I've been impressed by the accuracy I'm seeing from it. Daisy precision max BBs seem to shoot well for me.

In respect to inside safety
My 1377-rifled barrel-will reliably penetrate a normal cardboard box-4 splatter stickers and no more than 20 layers of newspaper are broken/cut
with 5 pumps- never ricochets-
On the other hand my all plastic "double action SIG 226 BERETTA 92" that actually charge with slide- will NOT reliable penetrate a regular shipping box with a splatter sticker-ricochet
every time(yes I wear glasses and safety glasses)
They will penetrate-reliable-a single splatter sticker on a thin ALLBRAN etc cereal box-packed with newspaper and tightly crumpled shipping paper-usually penetrates "not much paper"
I put a powerful MAGNET- 12x12x24mm square prism on the back of the 1377 receiver-it magnetizes the lower receiver and the probe-BB sticks-stays
Yes it is rifled-but barrels so cheap-who cares
Accuracy 1377 is OK for me-eyes so bad hardly matters-1" at 25 feet when I am lucky
