I've got one that I like very much, and I have a couple of questions...
1. What is the correct velocity or energy range so I can gauge the condition of my spring and seals.
2. Does anyone have a recommendation for a spring and seal kit?
3. Does anyone know where I might find a rear sight?
4. Does anyone know of a way to modify the trigger? Mine has far too much travel, and I dont mean pre-travel. Its heavy, and it can stay that way but the travel stinks.
Thanks all!

Hi Brian,
I hope you get all your questions answered. The reason why I am piping up is because my very first air rifle was a Slavia 620 that I bought new in 1974 as a kid. I had so much fun with that air rifle that it required multiple spring and seal replacements.
My own research about the expected performance of the 620 was that it shoots at "600 FPS". Now, I do not know what pellet weight was inferred, but assume standard 8 grain. This was at a site dedicated to old European air rifles, with lots of pictures of Slavias in good condition.
In other words' the 620's performance is more like a RWS 240 than a HW30. Accurate, but not very powerful at all.
The piston seal on mine seemed to be made from nylon. In any event, my brother turned me a new seal on his lathe. Today, I would turn a piston nose with and O-ring groove in it. You might get something suitable from here:
https://www.airrifleheadquarters.com/page/page/251485.htm
I cut Diana springs to the right length to make replacements for the original. I found a listing on ebay for a 620 spring, here:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/SPRING-SLAVIA-620-630-631-634-ORIGINAL-2-9MM-23-CM-AIR-RIFLE-SPRING/173224722985?hash=item2854ff8229:g:yCAAAOSwBOlaYH-H
Or here:
https://www.airrifleheadquarters.com/spring-matching-service.html
You might have to adapt a rear sight from one off the shelf; or make one from scratch. From memory, the 620 rear sight was a flat spring stamping with an "L" bend, with a notch cut into it. The sight was riveted to a dovetail and had a movable wedge for elevation. It was "low profile"
Here is a good looking rear sight on ebay, that might take some work to adapt:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Rear-sight-Gamo-full-metal-19738/163814997122?hash=item2624227c82:g:0WwAAOSwiZtdDPSU
The 620 trigger is very simple. It is also not "adjustable". Unlike the four link RWS and Weihrauch triggers, the trigger shoe is connected directly to the sear, so making it very light is lightly to make it susceptible to jarring loose. Mine was polished from shooting 100,000 pellets. It was also oiled. Some are strictly against oiling triggers, but if they are over 4 lb I would have no qualms oiling it to see what happens. Some have tried "molly" grease and like it. Other report the trigger becoming so light the gun won't stay cocked...
CZ USA used to sell Slavia air rifles and may be able to tell you who can sell you parts for your 620:

This is what my 620 seal looked like (From first GTA link below image):

Subscriber, that is one heck of a reply and I thank you very much!
For the record, I think that my rifle shoots fine today but I would like to be prepared to keep it shooting fine down the road.
Also, I have exactly the rear sight setup you posted a picture of. I'm looking for a replacement to modify for use as a scout scope base (I'm not going to drill or weld the main tube to mount a scope). I've had the idea for a while and I think the Slavia wold benefit from a scope. I will not modify the original sight.
As for the trigger, I agree about not lightening them. I would like to address the mile long trigger pull though. When I first got the rifle the trigger return was gummed up/a little weak and the trigger pull was much shorter. That actually worked well.
I got a little CLP on it, which improved the return and greatly lengthened the pull length and spoiled the shootability. I need to take a look at it to see if there is a legitimate way to improve that without a safety risk. Maybe a small screw could be added to take up some of that sear engagement. Maybe nothing can be done. But I will at least look at it.
Thanks again!

Maybe a small screw could be added to take up some of that sear engagement.
A small engagement limit screw that can be locked, so that it does not drift until it is too shallow. Even the Weihrauch trigger has such a screw. It is know as the "never touch" screw, for the non-expert.
There are split picatinny rail mounts that clamp around barrels of various diameters. I have one for my IZH 46M pistol - details below. There may be a suitable one for the Slavia barrel. Or one could make one.
