Hi Guys! I've had several guys upset, feeling they'd been tricked after checking out because suddenly they saw the price jump by $100 or something like that when they finished paying.
The issue is I'm in Canada and my PayPal account is in Canadian dollars and my bank account that credit card payment go to is Canadian, so it has to convert your USD to Canadian dollars when you pay. The website is merely letting you know what you paid in Canadian dollars after you paid. This is confusing I know and I wish I had a better way but that's how it is. It does say CA$ with the amount but if you are used to always buying in the US and aren't used to foreign currency you can easily miss the CA in front the $.
Anyway all that to say is you aren't suddenly getting some secret charges when you pay. 😁
The USD is worth about $1.36 Canadian give or take a few cents, depending on the day, so if you checkout with US$100 worth, when you finish paying it'll say thanks you just paid CA$136 😁 and then that makes you mad til you realize it's just the Crazy Canadian Loonie (dollar) messing things up 😊
