Of course, that one would probably work just as well with double sided take also.
I wasn't aware of this type of hour meter. How long do they last? They all seem to be sealed units so when the battery dies you lose the time and need a new one.

This vibration activated hour meter seems like a good idea however, if you are going to be transporting your compressor with this hour meter attached it is going to be activated by the travel vibrations. There is no on off switch for the meter.
Paul, the one you linked to has a Lock mode to keep it from reading during transit. On the other hand, might lose run time by forgetting to turn the lock off.

That video shows a full bottle of oil! Did you get a full bottle of oil? The bottle in mine was only half full!
rubber plug over the hole between the fans is missing in mine.
