Id like a 3-12 with the reticle from the HS 6-2450. The Christmas tree thing is too much clutter.
Take a look at the VT-3 4-16x44 ffp if you'd like a first focal plane or the VT-3 4-16x44 SF or VT-3 3-12X44SF if you prefer second focal plane. Those are fairly similar reticle to the HS, less clutter for sure, and nice and compact.

Wes

Sent you an email regarding my order #AIR-VPW7AK3W6QN3 requesting a change to Medium Picatinny Rings instead of High.
Ok thanks for the order!

I ordered one of the 3-12x44 last night. Looking forward to trying it out. This is my first Discovery scope, but I've heard good things for the money.

Received my HS 6-24X50SFIR scope this afternoon and my initial impressions are it seems like a steal for $207. No battery was included for the illumination feature and the manual makes no mention of the feature at all which is a bit strange. Anyone have a Discovery with illumination and can tell me what battery their scope uses?

Hi David glad it arrived. 🙂
You unscrew the cover on the end of the side focus and put in a 2032 size battery. They are available pretty much everywhere here, 5 for a $1 at a dollar store. My apologies for forgetting to add one.
Thanks for the order 🙂

Thanks Wes - I had figured out where the battery went, just not the size. Popped in a 2032 I just happened to have and we have ignition. Now to get it mounted up on my .308 and send some lead downrange! If it survives the 308, I will be ordering one for my .25 Synrod - if you have any left.
