Last time I checked, Baker could not get any more of the springer .25 cal. barrels that they were using to make these. Mine were very accurate and cheap to use on my Discovery tubes. The only ones I can find are expensive 25 cal. LW barrels with a custom bolt from Mountain Air Guns. They are great if you want to spend around $200. Hope Baker finds a source for the barrels again as they still list the breech and bolt.

Wonder if Crosman won't sell them anymore...
Pretty sure they were Crosman springer barrels that Baker turned the breech end down to 7/16 on right? Crosman still sells .25 break barrels, I'm pretty sure.
Whatcha working on Rob? You've always got some cool project going.

The Barrels were for Trail XL725 (9/16)... the breech end was then turned to 1/2 for the Baker breech or 7/16 for the Crosman Breech...
I picked up one for the Crosman breech think it was in 2015... in late 2018 I picked up an unturned XL725 barrel(with breech block) from Crosman... so you could still get them in 2018... it was about 20$ at the time...

Tj's 25 Auto liner works well. Used to sell a fair few of those as drop in kits for 22xx.
Can get them directly from Mike or at Track of the Wolf.

Thanks guys ..I do like the deep rifling on the npxl barrels so I'll be calling crosman. They're cheap and not too far off 7/16
