For anyone interested here is the link to order them from Walmart: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Barra-1866-Cowboy-Air-Rifle/872596164As I post this, they are still $59, but they are "pickup only". So you have to pick them up at a Walmart store. They are not delivered/shipped to your address as far as I can tell.

I was in a Walmart yesterday having a new tire put on my trailer. They had an end cap of them for sale at the $59.99 price. I was able to resist.Reason being.... I really don't like all the plastic.
OK fine....With Betty Lou's blessing I bought one as a stocking stuffer for myself. It is instore pickup only... no delivery option. We have to make a run to Troy for dog food anyways. Betty Lou opted for a new cast iron skillet set. She is donating her old one to the shooting range. Can't wait to hit that 12" one with the Sumatra...
Not Lodge so it's probably some Chinese stuff.... It's all good, Betty Lou abuses it anyways. I tried to tell her how to keep it seasons and was quickly banished from the kitchen. Fine with me, I'll just keep accepting the targets.Walmart says the gun is ready for pickup.

I hope she went for some American lodge iron and not the horrid Chinese store brand stuff, you just never know what the Chinese are really putting In their iron.Sure Lodge iron is a bit heavy but the thin bottomed Chinese iron doesn't retain heat worth a darn.Besides I hear nobody has iron as pure as we do here in the US Oh and I'm glad you decided to try one, I think you'll be surprised by the trigger. It's one I've felt no need to mess with.
I've decided that my 1866 is going to be a dedicated bb gun.Reasons being; No scope rail.... With open sights I can't accomplish pin point accuracy anyhow so bb shooting will be good enough. I don't intend to drill and mount anything on the gun to add a scope.Single loading pellets... I already have this covered with our metal/metal scoped 880 guns who's accuracy with the scopes make single loading pellets worth the trouble.Looks... I love the looks of the rifle as it is.Unique.. I don't really have a real nice dedicated bb pumper.I hope everyone enjoys their Barra Cowboy 1866 in what ever capacity they choose to use them in. I'm happy with my purchase.
