Nothing has been modified on the original parts in a permanent way.
Say Scott - I will be picking up a sliding breech 1377 (similar to the one here in your pic) sometime this week. Can that barrel be separated and replaced with a longer one or is it a permanent part of the breech?

Mine is a newer bolt and probe.
But I do have the green felt on the work area... it is AMAZING for finding little screws, balls and springs from flying into nowhere.
