Tasty homemade Chicken Fajitas.  8)
My son requested nachos for dinner tonight. Yeah, that'll work for me as well.

So... your "Italian lobster tail. Think cannoli on steroids" was out-voted?

Neck, no! That's what I was eating while I was taking a break from yard work and posting on this thread.

As mentioned earlier, nachos was on the dinner menu for this evening. We all made it own personal platter. Mine was: ground beef, shredded Mexican cheese blend, salsa, cilantro, jalapenos, sour cream, queso, and Tapatio. Woowee, that was tasty! Washed mine down with an iced glass of ginger beer.

I have some flab. Don't have that tight, lean cut I did earlier on. But, for someone turning 50, at the end of this month, I have a decent physique. Jogging is my choice of exercise, and that's exactly what I do to stay in shape.......and eat mostly what I desire 😁

8 3/4" burger! YES! :o

I find morel mushrooms rarely. I decided to check a spot along the yard, in the woods and came up with about a dozen 3-5". Just got done doing a beer batter and pan fry on them. Took pics, before,... and after (minus two halves).

Not good at posting pics (re-size and all) so will try to follow up at a later time.

As promised, Susan made mac-n-cheese tonight. She denied, mine and my son's, request to bake the hotdogs into casserole. So, we had to settle for pan fried wienies. The boy and I added Frank's Red Hot and scallion to our plate. Mmm mmm!
Dessert was Susan's Key lime cheesecake she had made yesterday.

Just finished of the leftovers from last night's Mississippi chicken and noodles.  Just a few boneless chicken breasts in a crock pot with a handful of pepperoncini peppers and a splash of the juice, a little chicken broth, packet of ranch seasoning and a packet of gravy mix.  I couldn't find the gravy mix so I used beef and onion soup mix.  Cooked until it falls apart, and served on top of some bowtie pasta.  It was pretty tasty and easy.

Wow, Dan, this sounds really good! I'm going to have to try this.

I just realized I did not post last night's supper.
G-pa was large and in charge while Hoosier Momma was working.
Steaks on the grill for the Grands and me alone.
They were happy with Ribeye smothered in mushrooms, green beans, and a salad.
I had to have a T-Bone.  ;)

I've had two Popeye's spicy chicken sammiches this week after seeing them for a long time and never trying one. I told them to put extra sauce on the 2nd one but they didn't. Good stuff either way. Their biscuits are great with honey poured on them.
