Hey all!
So, I was looking at the truglo scope being discussed in the bargian gate, but was hoping to find something with an IR. I did some research and came across the Bestsight/ BSA 5-15×50, and found a thread a couple years old on them, with generally good reviews. Therein was a post by Fuzzygrub saying he bought to scope but decided the reticle wasn't for him, and offered it for sale for $75 shipped. This was 2019, but I figured the world got put on hold for a year, so maybe he might still have it, and shot him a message.
Lo and behold, he still had it! Price had gone up to $80 due to higher shipping fees, which was understandable. I then did some more research and found a couple buyers on Aliexpress that had issues with windage adjustment, so I asked him to check it out. For a measly $80 scope, he was nice enough to actually mount it to a gun and test it! That's customer service.
We made the deal, I paid, he packed WELL, I recieved and all is good. It arrived sans battery, but if it was in there on the shelf for a couple years it might have corroded, so no complaints there.
To recap- I cold called a guy on a post from 2 years ago, he had what I wanted and was willing to sell it to a newbie, I recieved great service, a great little scope and I'm a happy camper. If you buy from him, you will be too.
