HI Guys! Just thought I should mention a few new real steals of deals I have here for pcp scopes from Discovery.
The VT-R 4-16x44sf is an amazing price for what you get! 30mm tube, side parallax with wheel included and focuses down to 5 yards. Nice Mil reticle, and nice clear glass. All for under $74! Pretty crazy I think. Even comes with a sunshade 8)

It's big brother is also a great deal, the VT-R 6-24x44sf at $88.88.

Another scope is the VT-2 3-12x40SF, nice and light at 528gr, side focus from 10 yards to infinity, rated for .308 rifle, so not springer rated but great for pcp and 22 long rifles or lower powered deer guns.
These are $87.40

Lastly, I've got some amazingly cheap first focal plane scopes the VT-Z 4-16x50sf ffp, for $123, side focus with a great reticle with some windage hash marks and numbered for easy holdover. It also comes with a side wheel and sunshade. I've only a couple of these last ones left now.

I need to mention as well that it is necessary on my website to choose the shipping method. It defaults to Canadian shipping, but if you switch it to US shipping, it's only a couple dollars more and you'll get the scope shipped by DHL which is a whole lot faster.
Thanks,
Lastly I thought I'd remind GTA members you can use the coupon code GTA5 to get 5%off these already really great deals.
Thanks
Wes

Wes,
With my New PCP on it's way I want another Discovery scope.
I currently have a VT-2 6-24X44 SFIR-N and am EXTREMELY happy with it.
I have been on the search and quite honestly am blown away by all the models.
Is there a guide to what each model code means?
VT-1
VT-2
VT-3
VT-R
HD
Etc...

Subscribed... would like to know also

Hi!
The VT-R and Vt-z are strictly pcp/co2 scopes. They are super cheap to buy, nice glass but are not built for high recoil.
Vt-1 are built a little tougher with front ao parallax adjustment.
The VT-2 are the next class up, with side focus on most, and Externally Adjustable locking turrets.
Vt-3 are next with higher recoil rating for medium power spring rifles and 30mm tubes, side focus. The compact scopes are vt-3 line and there is quite a few first focal plane in this group of scopes.
Hi series are mostly second focal plane, higher recoil resistant and good for field target shooting with bigger magnificatuon options.
HS are 30mm, super high recoil rated, first focal plane. but still economical and lighter. Designed in the USA for hunting.
HD top quality glass, 30 and 34mm tubes, mostly first focal plane, super high recoil resistant Christmas tree reticles.
ED best glass, more compact, 30mm tube, side wheel included, lifetime warranty.

THANKS!!!!

Wes, I am curious if all/any of these models have etched reticle?
-
Oh that's a good question. I know vt-1 has wire reticle and vt-3 and up have etched reticle but I'm not certain whether the VT-2, VT-R or VT-Z have wire or etched. I'll have to ask.
Thanks,
Wes

Looking forward to getting my HD 6-24x50. My HW77 has been begging me for a scope.
-
Here's the newest batch on its way. :D
-
DANG!!! That quite a selection!

I bought a VT-2 4-16x50 SFIR-N a couple years ago and according to this site it has an etched reticle......
https://airgunopticsplus.com/products/discovery-vt-2-4-16x50-sfir-hawke-reticle-side-focus-for-target-shooting-hunting-riflescope-1-inch-for-airsoft-air-guns
From the above...........
"Our HK SFP IR-MIL reticle has been highly acclaimed by air rifle and firearm shooters. The glass-etched reticle is both fine and sharp to accommodate even the most discriminating shooter."
The reticle of my scope looks like this and it is a usable reticle for me (not too busy), however the lines are very fine and they get lost on a dark target unless the "reticle light" is turned on...............

Seems to be holding up to my .177 HW95 and it's an OK scope for what I paid but the think is "big and heavy" and the "bright blue lens covers" were a bit "off-putting" till I painted them black, however, what's with those "sun shade holes"?.......
The supplied "sun shade with holes" also made the scope too long to get an acceptable eye position on the HW95 so I shortened it..........

Anywhoo, I've been using shorted lighter compact scopes for a while now while the Discovery has bee "on a shelf" but I'm thinking of returning the Discovery to my HW95 for some "longer term testing".
-
Wes, how much is shipping on these scopes?
-
Wes,
Any idea how long until these scopes are on the website to be ordered?
I recently picked up VT-3 3×12 & 4x16 compacts, amazing scopes btw.
Want to order another 4x16.
-
Did you get in any side wheels, or flip up lens covers?
-
Hi Guys! Sorry for the wait. The scopes got rejected by Chinese customs and do they had to resend them from Hong Kong. They should be here in the next day or two.

Hi Guys! Half the scopes arrived today. A bunch of VT-2 3-12x40SF,.....
So this one?

I will wait a bit to see what all arives but so far this one has my vote... Something with the"Hawke Style" reticle may sway my decision. ;)
-
Wes, were you ever able to confirm exactly which models use etched glass reticles?
Thanks!
-
Wes are still stocking the Discovery VT-Z 4-16x50sf?
If so what would it be with shipping to USA 01930.
Thanks.
-
Wes also has a GTA discount code, GTA5 If I recall.
