Valentine heart candies, the ones with messages on them are clay birds for airgunners. They explode dust when hit, no clean up. I hot glue them to black paper. I always buy severl bags the day AFTER Valentines Day for dirt cheap.Chunks of drywall also turn to powder nicely.
Field target knockdowns are my favorite. Ya get to see it fall AND hear the clink. Way fun.

Georgia Thumpers.  Blasted a half dozen of these into muscilage last weekend.

Cap, we had something similar to that one in the picture near the coast in Louisiana.  However, our's were solid black.  I would see them on the road as I approached a little fishing community on Vermilion Bay; and also in the salt marsh where I fished along the Bay.
[I sometimes wondered if they would have been good BBQd.]

Can’t post pictures yet. But I built a pellet trapping target box lined with a steel sheet covered in duct seal putty. Once I’m done with paper (clips to the front of the box) I grab the caps from beer and cider and just push them into the putty till they stick.
That little metallic sound when you punch holes in the capsule is just raw endorphins.
Eventually they are either crumpled and half buried in the putty or they get plinked out. Had a glorious session two weeks ago with my home tuned Crosman Storm at 40 yards. I swear I hit target more consistently at longer distance when it’s a cap.
Cheers all, lots of fun ideas here.
