I've had a Vigilante awhile. Ordered the model with the 6" Python barrel and they sent me another Vigilante. Turns out you cant get a new 3576W. Ordered a 'parts only' 3576 and put the barrel on the second Vigilante.
The 3576 barrel was old and beat up looking so I plugged the bore with Q-tips and spray painted it flat black Rust-Oleum and it looks new.
Tried ivory colored paint on the grips. Too shiny, so I spray painted over it with flat white Rust-Oleum. Looks good to me.

They might sound like a lot of work till you realize you only need 3-4 pumps for plinking.
