We will be doing contests differently going forward.  We realize this may catch some of you all off guard, but there are legal and accounting reasons that necessitate this direction.  Also, we are posting this contest on GateWaytoAirguns.com as we are reaching out to NON-GTA members as well to help encourage new membership.
 
Please note that companies agree to provide products for giveaways so they can gain exposure for their brands and products.  In exchange, we agree to help tell people about them.  Our new contest system allows us to offer you all several ways to participate.  The easiest way is to simply visit their site.  It’s no different than if you typed their site into your browser and hit enter, we don’t track your contact information and give it to them, we just link to them and you visit.  Any information you provide through the contest page, i.e. name and email address, stays with the GTA.  If you like our Facebook page, then Facebook has its own way of tracking and reporting that you’ve done so.  If that’s a concern, then simply do use that entry method.
 
These “entries” are weighted by value and add to your overall entry score.  If you want to just enter by clicking the link to visit the GTA, you can just do that, and you’re entered.  You’ll receive an email confirmation.  If you want to increase your chances by clicking the other links, joining our newsletter, or liking our Facebook page, that’s all up to you.  It’s not necessary.
