Racine Sheridan C9 question
« on: November 23, 2021, 12:35:11 PM »
I just got a Sheridan C9 Racine Wisconsin stamping and the serial # is W106913. I have been trying to find info date it for my airgun list. Since it is marked Racine and Sheridan C9, I am thinking it is likely late 1991 or early 1992 before the move to NY.
That's my guess and was wondering if anyone else could pin the date down with info they have seen?

Was it that nice Silver Streak C9 on Gunbroker recently?

The first time I hit it, I missed. The second time I hit it in the same place.

Thanks I had read before that the move to Bloomfield was in '92 but did not know what month that year and if Racine production ceased completely, so I figured it was made in '91 or early '92. I see now it is likely very late '92 or more likely '93. I was going to PM Flint but see he has not been active since October 2020.

Here are my "Streaks"

Nice Rifles! I like the "Dowel" treatment for photographic display! I haven't seen that before.

Thanks, I hadn't seen it either but I had seen one rifle propped up with a shorter prop like an ink pen though the trigger guard and thought the dowel I have used to push valves out with would line them all up well, and it worked great.
