They are super fun guns to fix up and mostly fun to use. The ones from late seventies up to 1983 (last ones with metal receiver and rifled barrels) I think fourth variant, are the best ones to tinker around with. They seem to be the ones I have the most success with in making more powerful and man are they tackdrivers. This is today’s project I just got. Have my work cut out for me lol. Can’t wait to see what’s inside!
My brother has a newer 760 with plastic stock. Was passed to him from father in law. No idea what year that one would be Did the newer one come rifled barrels? I see your saying the 79-83 models did. I don’t know what his is but he offered it to me last summer and now I think I’ll take em up on it. Especially if it has a rifled barrel.
