I am also a fan. It is a real smooth shooter. If I want more power I grab the 95. I just enjoy it for what it is. As someone else said earlier it just exudes a high quality feel and it feels like no corners were cut. Here is a pic of mine with the new style stock. Its not the classic but I actually like it. Has some cool striping in the stock so it doesn't look too plain. It even has a remote resemblance to an Hw55 (if you look hard enough and cross your eyes ) Not crazy about the brand cut in though but I'm over it...
Ron, I don't know what I'm missing with the finger grooves either. LOL. I looked at 4 different 35E's at AOA when I got it and liked this one the most. Joanie, no offense taken at all... Its a big forum and we all have specific tastes. At the end of the day we all love German springers...
Have no issues with the newer stocks appearing on the other HW springers, but I'd hate to see the finger groove stock on the 35E disappear. For me, that would take away some of the retro appeal of the 35E.
Nice job and nice shooting. I'm happy for you.
I wish y'all would quit extolling the virtues and beauty of the HW35E.

Guns are insanely personal items especially to an enthusiast and ESPECIALLY with something like a spring air gun as every one has its own personality even same rifle to same rifle. Shoot and enjoy what you like, life’s too short and your dead a long time and you certainly don’t seem to have any issues with the rifles personalities you have shown to be currently shooting. . EVERYBODY does’t have to like Glocks even if EVERYBODY seems to tell you to.
