. To me they represent build quality, elegance and accuracy. You're not going to find a better built, quality designed HW than the HW35E.
. The gun is kinda heavy, slightly under-powered vs. more modern Springers - but dang if U can't hit exactly what being aimed at.
No. Standard stock, stainless. Kinda of interested to see the new stock. My only complaint about the new Weihrauch stocks is the “Weihrauch billboard” on them.
I wish I could talk someone working the floor of some of our prominent air gun stores to text me pictures of their rifles with extraordinary woods. There’s not a better looking rifle out there in my opinion.
Billboard aside that’s a good looking stock.
I am a fan of the HW35 too. I loved the way it looked in catalogs from the early ARH days and later in the Beeman's. Took me a while to finally get one in the 1990s after my HW50S and other non HW air rifles. Originally in full power form, mine was fairly loud and had a spring buzz to it, velocity was about 800ft/sec. Now the spring seems to have weakened quite a bit and velocity has dropped to about 600ft/sec., but I don't mind as I like to shoot it in my basement range. Accuracy wise, my HW50 will always outdo the HW35, but that is not much of an issue for me.
I am also a fan. It is a real smooth shooter. If I want more power I grab the 95. I just enjoy it for what it is. As someone else said earlier it just exudes a high quality feel and it feels like no corners were cut. Here is a pic of mine with the new style stock. Its not the classic but I actually like it. Has some cool striping in the stock so it doesn't look too plain. It even has a remote resemblance to an Hw55 (if you look hard enough and cross your eyes ) Not crazy about the brand cut in though but I'm over it...
