Picked up 2 tins of crosman 22 pellets. Went to self check-out. Register locked-up after I scanned pellets and associate had to clear my purchase; "Airgun Ammunition"Wow....
Y'all think that's odd... check this out:In my area:1. They are locked behind glass like regular PB ammo.2. If no one is in sporting goods, you need to go find a store associate.3. If sporting goods is closed, you need to be escorted to customer service (up front) to pay -- while the associate handles the ammo.4. They card you no matter what you look like or your age. They punch in your birth date into the register.About two weeks ago I went in and bought another brick of .22 and .177 (for those that don't know what a Crosman brick is: 12 tins in a white box), along with a box of .22LR that they just happened to have. The dude (prolly in his mid 20's) was like sketched out and uncomfortable touching all the ammo. He uncomfortably said he needed to put it in a bag. It was about the weirdest/awkwardest experience I've had in a while!I was expecting to be escorted off premises next... lol
I refuse to "self checkout", if they ask I tell them next time you'll want me to stock the shelves.Last week I went to Wally World and bought a couple tins of .22 CPHP's I had seen them in the bargain gate for $6.XX. I finally found them on the shelf they were marked $7.89. I got to the register and they were almost $20.00 with tax. I told the cashier, what the shelf price was, she couldn't care less.I went into Dick's Sporting Goods looking for .25 cal pellets. They don't even sell guns, ammo, pellets, or pellet guns anymore. I told the associate, "tell the manager, I won't buy from Dick's again." I refuse to do business with companies that are PC.

Scan the groceries with your phone or a scanner, and pack them right there in your shopping cart. Then pay and leave. Nobody but yourself to blame for squished groceries.
