Hi Garry and Hajimoto I recognize your usernames from watching your YouTube videos about the Beeman 1358.  I also am a new owner of this model.  Still figuring out it's particular ways.  I learned yesterday how to zero 2 different methods. I think I'm going to get a magnifier for a red dot I already have and give that a go just for giggles.  I already tried 3 different scopes on it.  And Garry has already given me good information about psi sweet spots for it.  I bought a Yong Heng 4500 psi compressor and oil water filter for it too. Watching other YouTubers helped give great advise so far to keep it running good.  Learning about airguns has been a real joy and challenge too.  I love the quality of this bullpup, it just looks good and operates so well.  The only issue I have is the availability of extra magazines or even aftermarket ones.  I haven't owned a regulated airgun yet and weren't sure if it would be much more pleasurable.  Possibly my next gift to myself, lol.  My youngest daughter 28 yrs. old bought the PlayStation 5 yesterday for herself and captioned the photo, "*&^% them kids." So yeah adults like toys too.

Hi Kern

Glad you're enjoying the 1358. Keep me informed on your doing with it. Some photos of your setup maybe. Let me know how the Yong Heng works out. I didn't get one, because couldn't deal with the bucket of water. I use a GX CS2 Portable PCP Air Compressor. This is a great place to get help. Lot of old timers here.

Today I tried out my brand new Coldwell precision turret it was nice compared to my sandbags, but dang if Beeman doesn't fix these magazines.  I already had to replace the o-rings in both after they broke, now the tiny plastic,  "stop" that prevents the pellets from rotating when you're loading them has broke off. Anyone know of a aftermarket or substitute magazine since these magazines are so hard to find?

I read on a thread about how the 1357 .177 gun was able to use the Umarex Gauntlet mags.
Well, I thought I'd give it a shot. So I went to the gun room and rounded up my .22 Fortitude mags.
I loaded one up with CPHP pellets and low and behold, it snapped right into the 1358 breech like it was made for it.
It even made that positive 'click' that lets you know it's home. The 1358 mags fit a bit tight but these popped right in.
I kicked the back door open and cycle the cocking lever.... smooth as butter.
Let er rip, tater chip.... then I cycled it again and same results... silky smooth. I racked 3 more shots off with no issue.
I like the way these mags work... as said in the other thread, you can see the shot count through the hole in the plastic cover by just shifting your eye without changing position of the gun.
Winner, winner.
Hyundai changed their plans and cancelled Saturday work this week. Looks like I will get some time with this gun to gather some numbers and set it up how I want it.
